Globalink Research Internship
The Globalink Research Internship is a program offered by Mitacs Canada for international undergraduate students to participate in a 12-week research internship in Canada. Rhiannon has had several research interns through this program over the years. Students are matched with faculty across Canada, so there is no guarantee of being matched with Rhiannon and the Mesler Lab.
Chinook Summer Research Award
The Chinook Summer Research Award is funding for a research project with an academic supervisor with the University of Lethbridge. This path is designed for University of Lethbridge undergraduate students with a specific supervisor and project already decided. If you are interested and meet all the criteria, contact Rhiannon.
Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program
The Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program is a scholarship for postsecondary students in Latin America and the Carribean to participate in short-term research in Canada. Applications for this program are orchestrated through the Canadian institution, so please ensure you have organized the prospective research with Rhiannon if you are pursuing this path.
